The horse barn provided suitable stalls, a loft, a harness room, and a granary. It was put up with an appropriation granted by the legislature of 1886. In 1897, funds were requested to expand the horse barn. In 1900, the old horse barn was razed to be replaced by a new barn. Farm Laborer's Cottage with neighboring houses, farmland, and trees.
