- The Greenhouse was built as an attached unit when Bevier House was constructed in 1888. When Bevier House was moved in 1896, the propagating house remained in place. In the spring of 1897, plans to move the structure were considered, but they were ultimately abandoned, and the greenhouse was demolished later that year. Materials from the structure were reused or sold, and the site was graded.
