- Built in 1878 as a one-acre farm workman’s cottage, Eastwood Cottage was originally leased to L.L. Eastwood. He later offered to sell the cottage, and it was purchased by the college in 1882. The house was being used by the Experiment Station in 1888, and was razed sometime between 1888 and 1896, as it no longer appears on later campus maps.
