- Historical Note:
- Built between 1884 and 1885, the Sanitary Building served as a campus hospital, with additional use by the Veterinary Department until 1893. After the Veterinary Department relocated, the building was used exclusively as a hospital and underwent major remodeling in 1900. Following a 1902 fire, repairs were completed, and the Sanitary Building continued to operate as a hospital until 1907, when it was repurposed as a rooming house. The building, known as Music Hall, served the Music Department from 1912 until it was razed in 1927.
