- The Farm Laborer’s Cottage was built in 1882 to serve the farm and horticulture departments. Repairs were made in the 1890s, including new siding, interior work, and painting. The house was occupied by William Pierce, Fred Leighton, and Professor G.L. McKay at various times. The Farm Laborer’s Cottage was sold and removed from campus in 1904.
