Historical Note:
The first Creamery was built in 1879, with an addition in 1882 that included a creamery, ice house, and cold storage building. The building was moved and remodeled in 1891 to serve as the farm foreman’s residence and a boarding house for farm workmen. The first Creamery was razed in 1927 to make way for the Dairy Industries Building.
