Historical Note:
The first Horse Barn was constructed in 1870 to fulfill the need for a stable. The brick structure included stalls, a loft, a harness room, and a granary. Funds for expansion were requested in 1897. The original Horse Barn was removed in 1900 to make way for a new barn.
